At Quintana Roo, our history with triathlon goes deep. Our founder, Dan Empfield, competed in the very first Ironman held on Kona back in 1981 and, in 1987, went on to create the world's first wetsuits made especially for triathletes. Our dedication to providing the sport with the highest quality triathlon-specific equipment continues today in our high-performance line of Quintana Roo wetsuits manufactured right here in the US of A.

Today we use only the most advanced materials and manufacturing techniques available to build our complete line of suits. Materials such as SCS Nanoskin, SCS Sharkskin, and Hyperflex are just a few of the patented neoprene technologies utilized throughout our new wetsuit line. For 2005 we also went back to the drawing board and re-engineered our patterns to further improve on the anatomic fit off all of our suits.

As comfortable as all of our suits are, we want to make sure you can get out of them as fast as possible too. That's why we proudly boast that all of our suits now come with breakaway zippers and our new easy exit ankle cut. The result of all this innovation well it kind of speaks for itself. Our wetsuits have won more Ironman events worldwide than any other suit on the market today.
